Tint, step by step
A tint is never added without asking. First a small test of the tint on your skin, then a wait at home, then your tint.
A short visit. I put a small amount of tint on your skin and tell you how long to wait before you book your tint.
Check it over the next day. If you notice redness, itching or swelling, wash it off and tell me, and we skip the tint. A patch test helps, but it can't predict every reaction.
If the spot stays calm, choose your shade with me and book. Tint takes 30 to 75 minutes, depending on what you pick.
I only tint where Pennsylvania rules allow it, and I check that before I offer it. The FDA hasn't approved any color additive for dyeing lashes or brows, so tint is always your choice and always comes after a patch test.
Your artist
I'm Karolina Bak. Tilt is a single room on West Chestnut Street, so every visit is with me, from the first look at your natural lashes to the last brush-through. I'll tell you if a lift isn't right for them.

A lift curls the lashes you already have. Extensions add an extension to each one. The comparison above sets out what each asks of you. If you're still unsure, we talk it through before anything starts.
No. A lift works on natural lashes, and Tilt doesn't place or remove extensions. If you have a set from another studio, it needs to come off first.
Most clients book again every six to eight weeks, and some wait longer. Natural lashes shed and renew on their own schedule, so every client is different. There are no fills to keep up.
Yes before a first tint, and I recommend one before a first lift. It's a 15-minute visit, and you watch the spot at home for a day.
Reactions can happen with any lash or brow service. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell me and call your doctor or go to urgent care. If anything feels wrong in the chair, say so and I stop.
Yes, once the first 24 hours have passed. Take it off gently, without pulling or rubbing, and keep oil-based removers away from your eyes.
