Questions and answers
If yours isn't here, write or call.
How do I choose between a lift and extensions?
A lift curls the lashes you already have. Extensions add an extension to each one. The comparison on the home page sets out what each asks of you, and we talk it through at your first visit.
How often do I come back?
Most clients book again every six to eight weeks, and some wait longer. Every client is different, and there are no fills to keep up.
What happens if I'm late?
I hold your time for 15 minutes. After that we move the visit, because a lift can't be rushed.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes before a first tint, and I recommend one before a first lift. It's a 15-minute visit, and you watch the spot at home for a day.
What if I react?
Reactions can happen with any lash or brow service. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell me and call your doctor or go to urgent care.
Can I wear mascara or get my lashes wet?
Keep them dry and free of oil for the first 24 hours. After that, mascara is fine, and so is water. Take mascara off gently, without pulling.
Can I bring a guest or a child?
Visits are for the client, 18 and over. The room is small, so please come on your own. A friend is welcome to wait in the entry.
How do deposits work?
A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service. Lifts and tints take one; the patch test doesn't. The booking page shows how it works.
Can you lift lashes with extensions on?
No. A lift works on natural lashes, and Tilt doesn't place or remove extensions. A set from another studio needs to come off first.
What should I do before my visit?
Come with clean lashes and no eye makeup, and take contact lenses out or bring a case. The before you book page has the rest.
How do I buy a gift card?
Gift cards come in any amount and go toward any service. You can buy one on the gift card page.
