Tint
Lash tint
Colors light or fine lashes and brows a shade darker, in a shade you choose with me.
I only tint where Pennsylvania rules allow it, and I check that before I offer it. The FDA hasn't approved any color additive for dyeing lashes or brows, so tint is always your choice and always comes after a patch test.

What happens in the chair
About half an hour, once your patch test has been seen.
- 01
Step 1: Patch test
A visit of its own, a day or more ahead. I put a small amount of tint on your skin and you watch the spot at home.
- 02
Step 2: Choosing a shade
We look at your natural color and the shade you have in mind. I'd rather start soft and add than go too dark.
- 03
Step 3: The tint
Pads protect the skin around your eyes, and I apply the tint with a fine brush. I watch the time closely and check in with you.
- 04
Step 4: The finish
The tint comes off with cotton and water, and I go over aftercare with you before you leave.

Two questions about this service
Why does tint need a patch test?
Tint is a dye, and the skin around your eyes can react to it. A small test on your skin shows how you respond before the tint goes anywhere near your eyes. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction.
Is tint offered everywhere?
Rules differ by state. I only tint where Pennsylvania rules allow it, and I check that before I offer it. The FDA hasn't approved any color additive for dyeing lashes or brows, so tint is always your choice.
Your lash tint is with Karolina.
Karolina is a licensed esthetician in Pennsylvania. A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service, and I ask for 24 hours' notice to move a visit.
